About Us
Adelaide based classical guitarists, Alex and Glen are graduates from the Elder Conservatorium of Music. Having studied under Dr Oliver Fartach-Naini and Tim Kersten, and having performed nationally and internationally, both have extensive experience as soloists and as members of guitar ensembles.
In 2004 Glen completed his Bachelor of Music Performance at the Elder Conservatorium and has since been teaching and performing.
In 2021 Alex completed her Master of Philosophy degree at the Elder Conservatorium, researching extended techniques and descriptive score annotations in contemporary classical guitar compositions. This led her to an increasing passion for this style of music.
In 2024 Alex and Glen came together to form Duo Duende, a duo focusing on Alex’s passion for contemporary repertoire and extended techniques, and Glen’s love for Spanish and Latin music.
